Van Nest Hall, Rutgers University
Balustrade (Plinths, Balusters, Top Rail, Bottom Rail) and window headers. This Rutgers building was missing it’s original balustrade over its’ entrance. Given just one very grainy photo of the original buildings’ entrance, We were called in to design and fabricate a new balustrade. Through shop drawings and working with the university’s architects, we recreated the buildings original entrance façade. Also, as part of this project, we replaced all the Brownstone window headers with a cast stone concrete that faithfully matched the buildings’ stonework.
