The Woolworth Building

Our company has been the sole supplier of precast replacement material on this landmark building for over a decade. Starting in the late ‘90s, we were involved with a project that replaced various terra cotta elements on the front façade. The highly ornamental gable and gargoyle statuary at these parts of the building made for a challenging restoration program. It was completed with much success and served as something of a springboard for our company to be prepared to tackle the next phase of the buildings’ restoration in 2005. Being many times larger in scope then the 1st phase, our second project at Woolworth had over 1500 different units to be replicated, from all different parts of the building’s façade. Still to this day, we are with the ownership of this building as consultants for ongoing restoration programs.
